What are the benefits of Bhima App?
UPI Instant Payment Service (IMPS) is built on the infrastructure and allows the user to instantly transfer money between any two party's bank accounts. It can be used on all mobile devices, whether it is a smartphone or a feature phone with an Internet connection. BHIM allows users to send or receive money from UPI payment addresses or non-UPI based accounts. Unlike mobile wallets (PayTM, Airtel Money, MobiKwik, mPesa, etc.) that hold money, the BHIM app is simply a mechanism that transfers money between different bank accounts. Transactions at BHIM are almost instantaneous and can be done 24/7, 365 days including Weekends, Bank Holidays.
