The maximum speed of the X-59 Quest aircraft is 1,510 km per hour i.e. the distance from New York to Delhi (11765 KM) will be completed in 8 hours.
Concorde was the first supersonic civil aircraft
In 2003, the then supersonic civilian aircraft was discontinued after an accident. The maximum speed of this aircraft was more than 2000 kilometers per hour. That is, twice the speed of sound.
