 Amitabh Bachchan (born 11 October) is the most popular actor of Bollywood.  He gained great popularity during the 1980s and has since become one of the most prominent figures in the history of Indian cinema.  Bachchan has won several awards in his career, including three National Film Awards and twelve Filmfare Awards.  He holds the record for the Best Actor Filmfare Award.

 Apart from acting, Bachchan has played a role as a playback singer, filmmaker and TV presenter and an elected member of the Parliament of India from 1979 to 1979.  He famous TV  The show played the host role in "Kaun Banega Crorepati" which was a very successful avatar.  Bachchan is married to actress Jaya Bhaduri.

 Early life:


 Born in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, Amitabh Bachchan's father, Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan, was a famous Hindi poet, while his mother Teji Bachchan was related to Karachi. Initially, Bachchan was named Inquilab which was in use during the Indian freedom struggle.  The inspired phrase made was taken from Inquilab Zindabad.  But later he was renamed Amitabh which means "light that will never be extinguished".

 Although his last name was Srivastava, his father cited this surname as Bachchan who published his works.  This is his last name with which he used in films and for all public purposes.  It has now become the surname of all the members of his family.

 Famous writer-director Khwaja Ahmad Abbas gave him a break in his film Saat Hindusthani (1969).  He was then recognized for his outstanding performances in 'Anand' (1970) and 'Namak Haram' (1973) alongside superstar Rajesh Khanna of that era, but with 'Zanjeer' (1973), he starred in 'Angry Young Man'.  Historical image found.  By establishing his superiority with Rajesh Khanna in 'Anand' and Dilip Kumar in 'Shakti' (1982), he established his unitary empire on Hindi cinema.

 Amitabh Bachchan has been honored with the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan in the year 2005 and the Padma Vibhushan in the year 2015.  Amitabh's best films are - Anand, Zanjeer, Abhimaan, Deewar, Sholay, Trishul, Muqaddar Ka Sikander, Coolie, Silsila, Amar Akbar Anthony, Kala Patthar, Agneepath, Baghban, Black and Paa etc.  Director Satyajit Ray used Bachchan's voice in his film Chess Player.  Amitabh Bachchan can write with both hands.

 Amitabh Bachchan's mother's name was Teji Bachchan, who was from the Sikh family of Karachi.  She was also a woman with western thoughts but she believed strongly in her beliefs.  Both his parents belonged to different cultural backgrounds.  Amitabh Bachchan's parents initially named him Inquilab.  But on the suggestion of Sumitranandan Pant, friend of Harivansh Rai Bachchan, he named his son Amitabh which means "a light that never ends".  Though his surname was Srivastava, but Amitabh's father used to write his short name Bachchan in all his poems, due to which he named Bachchan even before Amitabh.

 In college, he obtained a master's degree in two subjects.  At the same time, Amitabh also participated in the college theater "The Players".  Here he got an opportunity to refine his acting and from that he was born a great artist. He sought a job in many places in Delhi but nowhere did he get the expected results.  Even in Akashwani, he did not get a job because of his heavy voice.  This made her very sad.  One day, discouraged by unemployment, he decided to go to Kolkata with his college friends and continued to find a job there.  He decided to try his luck in Bombay due to lack of hands in Kolkata which proved to be the turning point in his life.

 From the 1970s to the early 1980s, Amitabh Bachchan appeared in over 100 films.  At that time every director wanted to work with him, including a director Prakash Mehra.  During the shooting of the Coolie film in 1982, there was a serious accident in which Amitabh Bachchan suffered an internal injury in the stomach and he was swinging between life and death.  At that time, his fans prayed for his recovery.  Bachchan survived the accident.

 In the 1990s, Amitabh's magic stopped running at the box office.  His films were not playing at the box office.  Critics have written that Amitabh saved his career by working in the film Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan (1998).  But in 1999, four films flopped and its sinking company ABCL had a debt of over 90 crores, which was under great pressure to fill them.  Amitabh made the film deathbed in his company ABCL and returned to the big screen with it in 1997.  In 2000, he started hosting / hosting on TV or small screen with 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' and the serial became a huge success.
